Eligibility
Candidates applying must meet one of the following qualifications:
1ļøā£ Masterās Level Qualifications
MA / M.Sc / M.Phil / MS or an equivalent degree
in Cognitive Science, Psychology, Linguistics, Philosophy, Anthropology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Biosciences, or related disciplines
Minimum 60% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA
Must have a valid score/qualification in GATE / CSIR / JRF / NET / or any equivalent national exam
Applicants from CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutions) with 8.0/10 CGPA or equivalent are exempt from the entrance exam requirement
2ļøā£ M.Tech / ME / MD Category
M.Tech / ME / MD degree in any branch
Minimum 60% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA
Entrance exam validity requirements remain the same as above
3ļøā£ Bachelorās Level Qualifications
B.Tech / BE / MBBS in any branch, or a 4-year BS degree
in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Biosciences, or related fields
Must have 75% marks or 7.5/10 CGPA
Must hold a valid GATE / CSIR / JRF / NET / or equivalent qualification
Applicants from CFTIs with 7.5/10 CGPA or equivalent are exempt from national exam eligibility
PhD in Psychology Clinical Admission Process
Admission is offered only to full-time doctoral students. All completed applications must be submitted by December 1. The online application form is available through the universityās official admissions portal.
Applicants are required to upload the following supporting documents:
Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended
Statement of Research Interests, clearly outlining academic goals and intended area of specialization
Curriculum Vitae (CV) highlighting academic achievements, skills, and relevant experience
Three Letters of Recommendation from individuals who can assess academic and research potential
Any additional materials requested in the application guidelines
Academic performance, GRE scores, and strong recommendations play a significant role in evaluating each applicantās readiness for graduate-level research. The Statement of Research Interests should include prospective faculty mentor(s) whose research aligns with the applicantās goals.
